These homemade Bagel Bites are made with flour, Greek yogurt, and cream cheese, then seasoned with Everything But The Bagel seasoning for a savory snack that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3-4 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 1 egg white

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • Everything But The Bagel Seasoning

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until the dough comes together. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour until it comes together.
  • On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for about 1-2 minutes until it becomes smooth.
  • Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. Using a cookie cutter or cup, cut the dough into rounds.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  • Spread a thin layer of cream cheese onto each round.
  • Whisk the egg and water together in a small bowl to make an egg wash.
  • Brush the egg wash onto the edges of each round.
  • Sprinkle Everything But The Bagel seasoning on top of each round.
  • Place the rounds on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, or until the bagel bites are golden brown and puffed up.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can customize the bagel bites by using different types of seasoning, such as sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or garlic powder.
  • The dough can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Simply cover the dough with plastic wrap or a damp cloth to prevent it from drying out.
  • Leftover bagel bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply place them in a 350°F (175°C) oven for a few minutes until warmed through.
